Gujarati Pasta or Khandvi:
This is a delicious Indian pasta recipe from the Land of Gujarat. If you are looking forward to some healthy snack options this is the answer. Light subtle taste is ideal for people who love nonspicy food.
- 1 cup besan or gram flour
- 1 cup curd or dahi
- 2 cups water
- a pinch of sugar
- 1 chopped green chili
- 1 sprig of curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- Oil for tempering or tadka
- Salt to Taste.
- Grated cheese, grated carrots and chopped Coriander leaves to Garnish.
1 cup besan, 1 cup dahi, 2cups water, salt and a little sugar and green chillies to taste.
Mix well then reduce in a walk.
Greece the back side of a plate with little oil and spread the reduced mixture. Spread evenly and keep it thin. Then cut into strips and make tiny roll once the reduced mix is hard.
Then heat oil, add curry leaves, mustard seed and chilli and give the tadka.
Or heat oil, add mustard seeds and til and give the tadka. Grated cheese, grated carrots and chopped Coriander leaves to Garnish
